Child Safety Policy

CampusFlare is owned and operated by \Siyo Holdings (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/709519/07), a company registered in South Africa. Questions about this document can be sent to safety@campusflare.app.

CampusFlare has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the exploitation of minors, or the presence of anyone under 18 on the platform. This policy explains the controls we have in place and how to report a concern.

Minimum age

CampusFlare is strictly an 18+ platform. Every account must confirm a birth date showing they are 18 or older during sign-up, and this is also enforced at the database level so an under-18 birth date cannot be saved even by mistake or through a bug. "Underage user" is also a specific, one-tap option in our report flow for exactly this reason.

Zero tolerance for exploitative behaviour

Grooming, solicitation, sexualisation of minors, or any content that endangers children is never permitted for any reason, in any context, including if reported or discussed under the guise of "reporting" or "warning others". Any account found engaging in this behaviour is permanently and immediately banned, and reported to law enforcement.

How to report a concern

If you see a profile you believe belongs to someone under 18, or any content that concerns you, use the Report option in the App and select "Underage user" or the most relevant reason, or email us directly at the address below — mark it urgent if it involves an immediate risk to a child, and we will prioritise it accordingly. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Working with authorities

We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into child safety concerns to the fullest extent required and permitted by law, and will preserve relevant account information where we receive a valid legal request.
