CampusFlare is built for South African university and college students. Date, make friends, find study partners, or explore what's on — with people who actually go to your campus.
Get the app How we keep it safeMost apps show you everyone within 50km. For a student that's the wrong radius and the wrong crowd. CampusFlare narrows it to the people you already share a campus, a lecture hall and a timetable with.
You choose what you're here for. Date, Make Friends, Study Together or Explore — pick as many as you like. You only appear to people who chose the same thing, so nobody ends up in a dating deck they never asked for.
University and campus are part of every profile, so you see people you'd plausibly run into anyway.
Profile photos are checked before they go live. Report and block in one tap.
Enforced in our database, not just on the sign-up form.
Optional Premium for unlimited likes, Super Likes, seeing who liked you, Boosts and Rewind.
CampusFlare is strictly for students aged 18 and over. Every profile photo is reviewed before it appears, reports are triaged through a dedicated moderation console, and blocking someone applies everywhere at once.
If you're worried about someone on the app, report them in-app or email safety@campusflare.app. If you believe a minor is using CampusFlare, tell us and we'll act on it.

Free to download. Free to match. Free to message.
